Thank you for your interest in the Friends Scholarship program!
To qualify for Friends Scholarship, you must currently be a high school senior in Bryan or College Station, TX (including public or private schools, or homeschooled students), and have a plan to continue music studies in college by

Pursuing a Music Performance degree – Performance

Pursuing a Music Education (and/or Composition) degree – Music Education
-
Joining a college band, orchestra, choir, other music groups, or enrolling in individual music lessons for credit – Aspiring Musician
​Friends Music Scholarship awards are made to help support the student’s music studies through the first academic year in college or music school.

Scholarship Amount Per Recipient
Performance up to $2,000
Music Education up to $2,000
Aspiring Musician up to $1,000
Application deadline: May 2, 2025, 11:59 pm
​​Recipients will be chosen by the Friends of Chamber Music’s Scholarship Committee and notified via email by May 11, 2025, 11:59 pm. ​

Video of your performance (Upload your video onto one of the online file sharing platforms, such as WeTransfer, iCloud, etc. and enter a shareable link into the Application Form or forward it to info@fcmtx.org, along with your full name and the name of your high school.)
